Every child needs a hero, but abused children need Superheroes!  Come as you are or dress up as your favorite SuperHero!! All participants who register by Friday, September 13, 2019 will receive a performance t- shirt. Registrants after September 12th will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. Capes are available for purchase as well.

Why are we running? Did you know that 54% of foster children in Houston County do not have a CASA advocate?  CASAs or Court Appointed Special Advocates are a national organization of screened and trained volunteers that judges appoint to speak for the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children.  They make recommendations that children are placed in a forever home as quickly as possible.  Also, research shows that children with a CASA volunteer are much less likely to languish in long-term foster care.  Your support helps CASA reach the goal of providing a much-needed voice for EVERY child!
