Description
Come join us for the Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA. The course will wind through the adjacent neighborhood of Northwest Woods. Proceeds from the race will go towards the continued programs of Oconee Therapeutic Riding and their work with children and adults with special needs, including scholarships.

Registration: Price increases to $30.00 after August 15, 2024 at 11:59pm EDT
Event: Lap of Love
Children with Special Needs: Just prior to the awards (approximately 9:00AM) will be our annual Lap of Love for children with special needs served by Oconee Therapeutic Riding. All children are invited to run/walk.
Start Time: 9:00am EDT
Price: $10.00 Race Fee + Processing fee.

Course
The course winds through the adjacent neighborhood of Northwest Woods. By the way, this neighborhood is where local runners come for their hill workouts!!!!
Awards
Special and creative awards will be presented to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female in age groups beginning 10 and under through 80 and over.

The Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series
Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
