Description
Put on your "luckiest" festive gear and join us at our annual Run for Gold 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run! Run for Gold is proudly brought to you by the Oconee Parks Foundation!
This family friendly 5K and Fun Run benefits the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department, and all proceeds from this event will go towards on-going park projects at the Oconee Parks and Recreation Department.
Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome! See you there!

Course
The course is run entirely within Oconee Veterans Park on the Fitness trail. Start and Finish are on the Soccer Field side of the complex at the Concession Stand.
T-Shirts
If you would like a t-shirt for this race register by March 1. After that date t-shirts are not guaranteed and will be available as supply lasts.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female GrandMasters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups Male/Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over.

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
