Join Us for the 2nd Annual Run with Heart 5K!
We’re excited to invite you to the 2nd Annual Run with Heart 5K! This out-and-back course takes runners along the beautiful Satilla Waterfront Boardwalk and greenway.
This event supports Mamie Lou Gross Elementary’s Running Club. Funds raised will help purchase running club t-shirts for all students who achieve half-marathon status by the end of the school year. Students who reach full-marathon status will also receive a special hat or visor in recognition of their accomplishment.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds will help establish the Tate Harper Memorial Scholarship, created in memory of the infant son of one of Camden County’s vice principals, Brittany Harper. Tate, who passed away unexpectedly last January, loved to run with pure joy. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who participates in cross-country or track.
Please note that 100% of online donations will go directly to the Tate Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund.

1 Mile : 5&U, 6-9,10-12 Will also be recognized
All race participants registered before 1/26 will receive a race shirt!
All 5k finishers will receive a custom finisher's medal!
Runners are encouraged to wear running gear with pink, red, white, and lots of hearts!
100% of all online donations will go to the Tate Harper Memorial Scholarship which will be awarded to a CCHS graduating senior who is a member of the cross-country or track team.
Pre-Race Packet Pickup
There will be an optional pre-race packet pickup held at the Mamie Lou Gross Elementary school on Friday, February 6th from 4:30-6:30. The school is located at: 277 Roberts Path, Woodbine, GA 31569. Pickup will be at the back side of the school at those times.
Parking
Race day parking at the Satilla Waterfront Park will be limited, and it is sure to fill up quickly. Please allow extra time on race day as you may be directed to use off-site & local street parking.
