Covid-19 is especially dangerous for individuals living with Cystic Fibrosis. With compromised immune systems and complicated lung issues they are at particularly high risk.
The need to exercise extreme caution extends beyond the effected individual to include all household members. The result is often reduced work hours or job loss and financial hardship.
M4CF launched the Critical Needs Initiative in April to extend a helping hand to members of the CF Community struggling to meet basic needs. In three short months, over 150 Assistance Grants have been awarded. (82% to families with children living with CF).
