What are the Mutt Strut rules about dogs?
All dogs are welcome, but are not required. You do not need to own/bring a dog to participate in Mutt Strut. Due to the high volume of dogs, it is preferred that animal participants are spayed or neutered.
ALL DOGS MUST BE kept on a leash and under supervision at all times. Retractable leashes are discouraged, but if used, must be locked at 4’ during the race. Dogs must also be dog and people-friendly, 6 months or older, and up to date on all vaccinations.
You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Please bring your own waste clean-up bags or get one from our volunteers along the race course.

Do I get a t-shirt with registration?
Registration for children 6 and under does not include a t-shirt. However, t-shirts are available for $25 plus tax during Race Day registration (while supplies last).
We would love to be able to provide each child with a free t-shirt, however, this is our only fundraiser for the year, so it is extremely important to cover costs. Thank you for your understanding and for helping ensure these much needed donations go back to the animals.
Individual and team registrations before the cutoff dates include a free t-shirt. Registrations after those dates will include a t-shirt but only while supplies last—we cannot guarantee sizes.
My child is under the age of 6. Can he/she still join a team?
Yes! Registration is FREE for children under 6 years of age and they are counted as a member of your team.
