FAQ's
Are there snacks? Food trucks owned by local businesses will be stationed at the race. Please bring your own reuseable water bottle. Water refills and a simple snack are provided after the race.
Can I wear spikes? Spikes are not recommended. While part of the race is on grass, another portion of the race is on a paved trail.
Can I run with my dog? My stroller? Yes! Furry friends and young ones in strollers are welcome. Just keep in mind that a portion of the race is on grass.
Where should I park? You can park in at the SLP Middle School parking lot or use street parking near the venue.
Are restrooms available? There will be a couple of port-a-potty's available near the course.
Will weather impact the race? We will run rain or shine. However, if lightning is sighted the race will be postponed for 30 minutes and cancelled if it cannot resume after 30 minutes. The coach will review alternate options for the race in the case of extreme heat or other weather events that would cause dangerous conditions for the runners. If the date of the in-person race is changed or cancelled, you will be given the opportunity to convert your registration to the virtual event and you will still receive your t-shirt.
I can no longer make the race. How do I get my t-shirt? Our first step will be to get the t-shirt to the runner you indicated you were supporting when you signed up. Otherwise, you can contact the Race Director and we'll make arrangements.
