Packet pickup will be held on Friday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Grace Church-Fishers (12450 Olio Road). All packets including 5K and 1 Mile must be picked up this day unless you pre-purchased race day Will Call. No packets will be mailed.
Can I pick up a packet for someone else?
Yes, you will just need their custom QR code (sent via email) either printed out or on your phone.
Can I pick up my packet on race day instead?
Only if you pre-purchased Will Call for the additional $20 fee. Will Call will be available on race day from 6 to 7:15 a.m. on Olio Road in front of First Merchants Bank (11521 Olio Rd.). If you did not purchase the Will Call add-on in advance and did not pick up your packet on Friday, there will be a $20 fee to pick up your packet on race morning.
Race Information
What time will the race start?
The Half, 10K and 5K start together promptly at 7:30 a.m. The start line is located on Olio Road on the north side of the bridge over Geist Reservoir. Use the First Merchants bank address (11521 Olio Rd) in your GPS for the start line address. Anyone arriving to the start line at 7:35 a.m. will not be permitted to start the race, so please arrive early!
The 1 Mile will start 90 minutes after the other races at 9 a.m. Anyone arriving to the start line after 9:05 a.m. will not be permitted to start the race, so please be sure to give yourselve plenty of time.
Where should I park?
Participants can park at 4 locations off Olio Road, including Fall Creek Elementary School (12131 Olio Road), Fall Creek Intermediate School (12011 Olio Road), Fall Creek Junior High (12001 Olio Road), and Grace-Church Fishers (12450 Olio Road). Parking lots fill up so please plan accordingly. Do not park at HSE High School, Kroger, or Walgreens as these lots are enforced by Fishers Police.
Is there a corralled start?
Yes, corrals will be indicated on your race bib.
Are there water stops and restrooms along the course?
Water stops and portalets are available every 2-3 miles. The 5K course features 1 water stop. There is no water stop on the 1 Mile course.
Are there road closures?
Yes we do have road closures. You can click here to see the full list and times of road closures.
Are strollers or dogs permitted on the course?
Jogging strolelrs are permitted on the Half, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile courses. Non-jogging strollers may be used on the 5K and 1 Mile course. We ask that strollers start towards the back for the safety of other runners. Dogs are NOT permitted on any race course.
Is the course safe for kids?
Course marshals, police, volunteers, and medical staff are always monitoring the course. We encourage parents to run with their children; however, if you are comfortable sending your child solo, we strongly advise planning a meet-up point afterward to reconnect.
Are race-day pacers available?
Pacers will be provided for the Half Marathon race for finish times ranging from 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours and 40 minutes. Meet the pacers here.
Is gear check available?
Yes, gear check is located at the First Merchants Bank parking lot in the Geist Pavilion Shopping Center (11521 Olio Rd.). Gear Check will open at 6 a.m. and will close at 11:30 a.m. Please bring your own bag for gear check. Geist Race Series is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Where are restrooms located?
Portalets will be located Olio Road near the start line. Portalets are also available throughout the course every 2-3 miles.
Is there a time cut-off?
Half Marathon: Cut-off at 11 a.m. with a 16:00 per mile pace.
10K: Cut-off at 9:30 a.m. with an 18:00 per mile pace.
5K: Cut-off at a 20:00 per mile pace
All participants must be off the course and roadways by 11 a.m.
How do I get my results?
Once you cross the finish line, scan the QR code on your bib to find your results. Results will also be posted online after the race.
How do I get my race photos?
Scan the QR code on your bib to see your race photos. Don't forget to share them on social media!
The post-race party is open from 8-11:30 a.m. and is located just north of the finish line off Olio Road. Your drink ticket on your race bib can be redeemed for a complimentary beverage at MashCraft Brewing, Athletic Brewing (NA beer), Java House, or Pure Green. You can also grab breakfast and treats to refuel from vendors like Ghost Mobile, Eiffel Waffle Creamery, and Pure Green. DJ Lockstar will provide the beats and Stretch Lab will be onsite for post-race massages.

Registration
What is included with registration?
Registration includes race entry and timing chip, race participant shirt, finisher medal, and access to the post-race party. All participants will get 1 drink ticket on their bib to redeem at the post-race party (both alcoholic and NA options available).
Is VIP registration available?
Yes, a limited number of VIP registrations are available for an additional fee. VIP registration includes reserved race day parking, an extra drink ticket for the post-race party, exclusive swag, and more. VIP registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
When is the registration deadline?
You can register online until 6 p.m. on Friday, September 11 or in person at Packet Pick Up until 8 p.m.
Can I register at packet pickup?
Yes, you can register for the race onsite at Packet Pickup on Friday, September 11 until 8 p.m.
How do I downgrade to a shorter distance due to a injury or change of plans?
You may switch to a shorter distance or to the virtual run by following the instructions linked HERE
Please note:
You will not be reimbursed the price difference when downgrading.
Online transfers are available until Thursday, September 10 at midnight.

Are refunds or deferrals available?
No deferrals or refunds are available. You can downgrade to a shorter distance or to the virtual race if needed.
Can I transfer my bib to someone else?
No, due to medical and safety liability, you cannot transfer your bib to someone else.
