Why we fundraise?

The Gobble Wobble is an excellent way to bring our community together for some active fun on the morning of Thanksgiving! What makes the Gobble Wobble so special is that all the race proceeds go to support our Annual Campaign.

Each year, the YMCA welcomes a wide variety of members through our doors. The Annual Campaign allows us to ensure that every family and child has an opportunity to connect to healthier lives through access to our branch, high-quality childcare, and impactful youth programs. Your contributions allow us to provide financial assistance to those in our community who need it most. We believe strong communities are built by people who care about one another!

How to get involved!

During the registration process for the Gobble Wobble you will have the opportunity to become a fundraiser. You will have the ability to set up a page as an individual fundraiser or create a new fundraising team!

Once your fundraiser is created, the next thing to do is share! You can share your fundraiser link via social media or email to let your network know you are running to support the Y and the communities we represent at the Gobble Wobble 5K!

Friends already created a team? Joining a team is easy during registration. You'll be able to search through any previously created team so you can join your squad in being the top fundraising team!

For more specific information on getting involved or sharing your fundraiser page, visit our FAQ page.

How about some awards!

You know we are going to have some awesome awards for our top fundraisers! Awards will be given to the top 3 fundraising teams as well as the top 3 individual fundraisers.

Fundraising ends at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Winners will be emailed with times to pick up prizes at the Y.
