Event Day Information
Registration/Check-In will be from 8:00-9:00 am
- EVERYONE must come to the registration table and sign a waiver in order to receive their swag bag and event shirt
- During check-in timeframe, there will be a small complimentary breakfast table (coffee, fruit, etc.).
- If any of your teammates arrive late, please have them come over to the registration table as they must sign the physical waiver to play (I know you all signed one at registration, but this one is also required).
- The event is at Grange Park (360 Grange Rd. Allentown, PA 18106). Below is a map of where the fields will be and where the best parking will be.
We will kick off the event promptly at 9:00 am
- We'll quickly run down a few items as well as some of the more important rules. One big rule we will be reinforcing is absolutely no fighting, rough or foul play, or harassment will be tolerated. You'll hear us mention this a lot, but it's very important that everyone remembers this event is to benefit PCFLV. Players or spectators who cannot remember that will be asked to leave. We'd like to make this an annual event, but a lot goes into planning and ensuring everything runs smoothly. If participants can't come out and help make the event fun for everyone, we won't be able to continue next year.
- After a quick rundown of some important rules, we'll have a guest speaker from PCFLV.
- Around 9:10 am, we'll offer a warmup for those who are interested.
- First games will begin at approximately 9:20 am.
Every team will play 4 games
- A link to the full set of rules can be found here. Games are two (2) 15-minute running halves. Teams will get 3 timeouts for the full game.
- Competitive games will begin every 50 minutes. Each competitive team will have one (1) "bye" round. Rounds will begin at approximately 9:20, 10:10, 11:00, 11:50 and 12:40.
- Casual games will begin every 45 minutes. Each casual team will have two (2) "bye" rounds. Rounds will begin at approximately 9:20, 10:05, 10:50, 11:35, 12:20 and 1:05.
- Some teams will have a "bye" in the first round. We will still need you to check in before 9:00 am. Schedules will be handed out to team captains at check-in.
Food
- There will be a snack stand (cash only) with drinks and small snacks available (pretzels, water, sports drink, candy, etc.)
- Slide on By Food Truck will be set up at the event beginning at approximately 11:00 am.
Miscellaneous
- Two port-a-potties will be available
- We will announce top fundraisers and hand out prizes at the conclusion of the regular games (before competitive playoff rounds). After playoffs, we will give a small medal to the winners.
- Flags will be provided. Mouth guard and cleats are strongly recommended.
