If signed up for the VIRTUAL race, how do I participate “Virtually”?
1) Choose your course- treadmill, neighborhood, local path, etc.
2) Set your distance and timer (5K=3.1 Miles). If you are outside, try downloading a free and user-friendly running app, such as RunKeeper or MapMyRun
3) Cross your personal 5K or 1 Mile finish line and stop those timers
4) Virtual runners must post their time by going to the main entry page and clicking the Results icon. Submit virtual run and follow screen prompts.
Where Do we pick up our Race Packets ?

When?
Thursday, February 17th from 4:00 -7:00 pm
Friday, February 18th from 4:00 -7:00pm
Friends or family members can pick up packets. There is no registration or packet pickup day of the event.
Is there a packet shipment option?
Yes, an individual packet shipment option is available for Virtual runners only.
Please make sure you enter in your correct address during the registration process- Guardian ad Litem Foundation will NOT be responsible for any misdirected packets. Domestic Shipping ONLY.
Is there a packet shipment deadline?
Registrants that wish to have their packets shipped must choose to do so before January 28th. Please make sure you emailed your full name and home address to outreach@galfoundation20.org
When does online registration close?
Online Registration closes February 16th, 11:59 PM.
In order to receive a dry fit shirt, please register by January 28th. Please note children 12 and under will receive a medal and not a T-Shirt.
Can I sign up as a Team?
Yes! You can create a new Group/Team on the first step of the registration process. You can review teams by going to our main entry page and click on the More button, select Group/Teams.
Can we dress up for the race?
Yes! All spectators and participants are welcome to dress as their favorite superhero. We encourage you to practice safety first.
Will there be awards given for the 5K?
Awards will be given to the overall male and overall female in the IN-PERSON 5K division, as well as the top 2 male and female finishers in each of the following divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-60, and 70+.
Can I bring my dog on a leash to the event?
Sorry, but NO. Only certified service dogs will be allowed to participate in this event, with special permission ahead of time.
Can I bring my child in a stroller or wagon?
Yes, strollers and wagons will be allowed, but will be seeded in the back. Children in strollers and wagons can participate for free. Although, bicycles and in-line skates are prohibited.
Where can I get my official race time?
In person participants will receive a text message from LinMark Timing immediately after finishing. Must sign up during the entry process.
