H2GO 5K – Race Day Information

We are excited to welcome you to the H2GO 5K at beautiful Lake Palmdale! Please take a few minutes to review the information below to help make your race day smooth and enjoyable.

Parking & Arrival

Participants should park at:

210 E Avenue S
Palmdale, CA 93551

 

After parking, please proceed on foot to the event entrance. Directional signage will be posted along the route to guide you to the venue entrance. 

Please allow extra time, as there is approximately 1 mile of walking from parking to the start/finish area, with a total walking distance of just over 1 mile from parking through check-in and to the start area.

 

Bib Pickup Opens: 6:30 AM

 

We strongly recommend arriving early to allow enough time to:

• Sign waivers

• Pick up your bib and shirt

• Visit gear check

• Walk to the start area

Please have your photo ID or race confirmation email ready when checking in.

 

Spectator Waivers

All spectators must sign a waiver before entering the event area.

If you are bringing spectators, they must accompany you to the waiver station. Once their waiver is completed, they will receive a wristband that must be worn for the duration of the event.

 

Bib & Shirt Pickup

After signing waivers, participants will proceed to bib and shirt pickup.

Please note:

• Shirts are available while supplies last.

• Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

• We are unable to exchange shirt sizes until after the event.

• Restrooms

• Food Trucks

• Results Kiosk

• Photo Backdrop

• Start & Finish Line

Our volunteers will be available throughout the venue and course to assist with any questions.

 

Course Information

🏃 5K Distance: 3.10 Miles

Registered adults & kids will complete one full loop around Lake Palmdale.

The course is clearly marked and staffed by volunteers throughout the route.

Please note: All registered kids racing in the H2GO 5K will run alongside adult participants and will begin the race with everyone else at the official start time. 

Parents with children registered for the 5K should note that the 5K course distance is the full 3.10 miles.

 

Water Stations

There will be two water stations on course. Stocked with water and gatorade. 

 

Weather

Temperatures are expected to reach approximately 92°F. Please arrive hydrated and consider bringing additional fluids for before and after your race.

 

Race Start

The race will begin promptly at:

🕗 8:00 AM

Please be in the start area several minutes before the start.

 

Results & Awards

Results will be available at the results kiosk within approximately 2 minutes of finishing.

🏆 Overall Winner Awards Ceremony: 9:15 AM

⏰ Course Closes: 9:45 AM
