Location: Kailua District Park
Packet Pick-up: There will be no separate packet pick-up for this race. Obtain race numbers and packets race morning at the Finish Line area, 5am to 5:45am.
Start times: Half Marathon - 6:00 a.m., 5K - 6:15 a.m.
Start: A wave start will be used where each runner/walker will be lined up behind a timing mat 6-feet apart in groups of 25. The first wave will be the fastest expected finishers. Listen for announcements regarding how and when to line up at the start. Where you start in the wave start process will not affect your finish time because you will get a “chip” time – from the time you cross the start mat to the time to cross the finish line mat.
Timing: Your timing chip is on your bib number. Your bib number must be visible from the front. No finish time without it.
Pre-Race Instructions: Pre-race instructions will be given at the start line at approximately 5:45 a.m.
Course: Start in front of Kailua Intermediate School. There are 3 aid stations on the course. The course closes at 10:00 a.m. Any participants still on the course must move to the side of the roadway and may finish the race but must obey traffic laws. The finish line will close at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Parking: Limited parking is available at Kailua District Park. Additional parking is located at Kailua Library and along side streets. There is parking behind Longs and you can walk across the open field. There are two metered public parking lots in Kailua: one is off Maluniu at the Kailua Business center, the other is a parking structure off Aulike behind McDonalds.
Restrooms: Public restrooms are located at Kailua District Park. There are also public restrooms on the course at Enchanted Lake Community Park.
Finish line: The finish line will be just inside Kailua District Park.
After the Race: No results will be posted at the race site. Results will be available on line at https://timelinehawaii.com/. There will be water and individually packaged refreshments in the park, just beyond the finish line.
Awards Ceremonies: To comply with COVID-19 regulations to reduce close social interactions, the awards ceremony is restricted for overall winners only. Awards for the 5K will be held at approximately 7:15 a.m. Awards ceremony for the 10-miler will be held at approximately 8:00 a.m. Age group awards will be available at Running Room, 819 Kapahulu Avenue Honolulu, HI 96816, starting Tuesday, March 1.
