Holo Kahakai 5K, 10K or 1/2 Marathon Fun Run

Join Big Island Road Runners on Saturday June 8, 2024 starting at 7:00 am for the Holo Kahakai Fun Run.

We will mark out 3 distances- 5k, 10k and ½ marathon. This event starts at the ocean front Kahakai Park in Pahoa. You will run/walk through the dappled sunlight under the canopy of old growth mango and lauhala trees along scenic Old Govt Beach Rd! Those running the ½ marathon will run to HWY 132 then up the Hwy about 1 mile before turning around and coming back the same way.

Meet at Kahakai Park in Pahoa – Run starts at 7:00 AM sharp. Event ends at 10:00 AM.

Directions: From HWY 130 take Kahakai Blvd which is just past the Pahoa Roundabout. Follow to the very end where you will run into the park.

Aid Stations will be provided but bring your own hydration in case it is hot😊

Snacks at the end. 

There will be sign up day of race between 6:30 to 6:50.
