Q. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?
A. A Virtual event is an event you can complete anytime, anywhere! There is not a set time or place to do this event, since virtual events are meant for you to complete at your convenience. Your race at your pace!
Q. CAN I REGISTER AFTER THE START DATE?
A. Yes, you can register anytime before the cutoff date of 12/31/20. The goal is to complete the miles!
Q. DO I NEED A GPS TRACKER (GARMIN, STRAVA, ETC) TO PARTICIPATE?
A. No. Fitness devices will make your tracking easier and more precise, but not necessary. However, you will need your phone and the Racejoy app if you would like your times to be posted on the leaderboard.
Q. CAN I WALK?
A. Yes, you can walk, jog, or run your chosen distance. All abilities are welcome!
Q. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
A. We would be happy to ship internationally! Please contact our team at info@sommersports.com for shipping and handling fees to your location.
Q. WHEN WILL I GET MY VIRTUAL PACKET IN THE MAIL?
A. **UPDATE** DUE TO A MAJOR DELAY IN SHIPPING - All packets will be shipped the week of November 9th. Thank you for your patience and understanding! If your address has changed please let us know before this date to prevent additional S&H charges.
Q. WHERE DO I GET MY RACE BIB?
A. Once you register, you will be able to download and print your personalized race bib from this website by going to your profile page for this race.
At the end of this epic journey, it is up to each athlete to earn their bragging rights and the pride to wear their finisher medal, take a selfie, and share it with their friends!
