Course Instructions

Swim: You will begin the swim with the buoys on your right and keep them on your right at all times. All turns through the swim course will consist of you turning to the right. Please see our "Swim Start" section to see further details about swim start location and swim start format.

Bike: There is only one turn in the bike course which comes at .3 miles into the bike course. This is where you turn off of the Lake Road onto Hwy 15, to head south. After you make that turn you will continue straight down the hwy to Philadelphia for 27 miles. Stay on the right side of the hwy at all times cycling with the flow of traffic. Please pay close attention to other cyclsist when passing and remember this hwy is open to traffic during this time. The Mississippi Highway Patrol will be helping patrol and monitor traffic but please ride wisely.

Run: You will stay on the left side of the road at all times (running into opposing vehicle traffic) through out the run course until arriving to the Neshoba County Fair Grounds. At 1.7 miles during the run course you will come to a Y in the road and you will stay to the LEFT! There are NO right turns during this run course. When you get to the Fair Grounds you will turn left (this is at 5.5 miles). When on the gravel road within the Fair Grounds you will follow the white chalk line that is on that gravel road. You will follow this line all the way onto the horse racing track which is where the finish line is. When you arrive onto the red clay race track inside the Fair Grounds you will stay to the right on the track. There will be two lanes to run in and you will stay to the right. When you make a complete lap around the track, which is a 1/2 mile track, you will then stay on the left side of the track to run into the finish line chute in front of the Grandstands.
