Heppe Chiropractic 15K & 5K

General:

1) What are the shirt sizes?  All shirts will be unisex sizing.  If your shirt does not fit, you may check after the race to see if extras are available in your preferred size provided your original shirt is in unused condition.

2) Where can I park? Limited spots are available at the Sophia Street Parking Garage.  Additional parking will be available at the Sophia Street lot.  No parking is allowed at Riverfront Park as that area will be closed for Porta Potties.  Ample parking is available at the VRE parking lot.  A parking map will be included with your race packet.

3) Can my dog run with me?  NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE!  We don't have bibs for them & face it, they'd outrun us anyway.  Dogs are welcome to watch from the sidelines.

4) Is there a minimum age?  Yes, all participants must be at least 14 years of age.

 

Registration:

1) Do you offer onsite registration?  No, registration will close April 12th, 2023.

2) Where/when will packet pickup be?  TBD - more info to come!

3) Will there be a bag drop?  Sorry, but no bag drop will be provided.  No items should be left unattended!

4) What is the inclement weather policy?  We will run rain or shine so plan accordingly.

5) Can I get a transfer or refund?  No, we are unable to offer refunds, deferrals or transfers.

 

Course:

1) Where does the race start?  The race starts at Riverfront Park off of Sophia Street (713 Sophia Street) in downtown Fredericksburg, VA.

2) Will there be bathrooms?  Yes, there are bathrooms located near the course and at the start/finish.

3) Is the course marked?  Yes.  There will be course marshals and signage along the route.  More signage in 2024!

4) Is there a cut-off time?  Yes.  The event starts at 7am and ends at 10am.

5) Can I walk the course?  Yes!  Walkers are welcome provided you can maintain an 18 min mile.  That would allow you to complete the course in the allotted time.

6) Are there water stations?  Yes.  Water stations will be available at mile 2, mile 4, mile 6 and mile 8.  We encourage the use of personal hydration (bottles and vests) to save the environment.

7) Where does the race end?  The race starts and ends at Riverfront Park.

8) Will there be an awards ceremony?  Yes!  An award ceremony will be held after the race at a separate location.

9) What are the prizes?  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers as well as age group awards and maybe a few other fun things ;)
