When is the Holiday Hustle 5K and Kids 1K Reindeer Dash?
§ The Holiday Hustle 5k will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 8:30 AM immediately after the Kids 1K Reindeer Dash at 8:00 AM.

How do I register?

How much is it to register?
§ The registration fee is $30 until Saturday, October 12, after which prices increase to $35. Race day registration is $40.
When does registration end?
§ Registration ends at 8:25 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Are refunds allowed?
§ No, race entries are non-refundable.
PACKET PICKUP
When and where is packet pickup?
§ Packet pickup is being offered on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at 11:00am-1:00pm and at 3:30pm-5:30pm in front of Trinity Episcopal Church at 1501 N Glass St, Victoria, TX. It will also be offered the morning of race day, Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 6:30 AM to 7:55 AM at the race start line on the corner of N Glass and W Colorado St.
What is included in the packet?
§ You will receive your chipped race bib, a t-shirt and sponsor items. Your finisher medal will be handed to you after the race.
What is being used as chip timing equipment?
§ Your race bib will have a chip timing device attached which will register your finish time when you cross the finish line.
What else is the bib used for?
§ The bibs will be used for photo identification purposes and need to go on the front of your shirt, uncovered and visible at all times.
Can I keep the bib?
§ Yes, you can keep your bib.
PARKING & RACE MORNING
What time should I arrive for the race?
§ You can arrive anytime between 6:30 AM to 7:55 AM to pick up your packet, stretch, and get ready for the race.
Where do I park?
§ There will be free parking available at the Trinity Episcopal School parking lots on W San Antonia Street and in the parking lot on the corner of N Moody and W Colorado Street. Additional parking is available on the surrounding streets. Please do not block any residential driveways.

§ 6:30 AM - 7:55 AM: Packet pick-up and race day registration at 1501 N Glass Street
§ 8:00 AM: Kids 1K Reindeer Dash race start
§ 8:30 AM: Holiday Hustle 5K race starts
§ 9:30 AM: Race finishes
§ 9:30 AM: Awards
What if there is inclement weather?
§ Every effort will be made to get the run done. If there is light or heavy rain, the run will still go on at 8:30 AM. If there is lightning, the start will be delayed until it is safe to run, so please plan accordingly.
THE COURSE
What is the course?
§ The 5K course begins and ends on West Colorado Street, between N Glass and Moody Streets, guiding runners through the charm of historic Old Town Victoria and into the scenic beauty of Riverside Park. For an official map of the race route, visit the Garmin course page.
Are there cutoff times?
§ There is a 1 hour time limit, so all finishers must be across the finish line by 9:30 AM. This is a 19:18/mile pace.
Will there be water stations on the course?
§ There will be a water station at the turn off point into Young Drive just before the Mile 1 marker. You’ll hit the water station again just before the Mile 2 marker. Water will be available during and after the race.
Will the course be marked?
§ There will be mile markers at Mile 1 and Mile 2.
Will there be cars on the course?
§ There is a chance that cars will drive by, but there will be volunteers to watch for cars and direct them away from runners. Volunteers will be stationed at each street intersection and orange traffic cones will also be placed on the course to indicate the turns.
Are strollers and scooters allowed on the on course?
§ Strollers are certainly allowed (start 'em young'), however, scooters, skates, bikes and motorized vehicles are not allowed.
FINISH LINE AND POST RACE FESTIVITIES
Where are the post-race festivities being held?
§ The post race festivities are being held at the start/finish line of the race. There will be some snacks and beverages for all to enjoy!
Is there anything that needs to be returned to the race after crossing the finish line?
§ No, nothing needs to be returned after the race.
Where will results be posted?
§ Results will be posted on the race website https://runsignup.com/Race/TX/Victoria/HolidayHustle5kandReindeerDashKids1k
How quickly will results be posted after I finish?
§ Results will be posted on the race website after the event is over.
What do I do if I notice my results are off while at the race?
§ If you have questions or think your results are off, please go to the timing table to discuss this with the timing personnel. After age group awards begin, no more race result disputes will be entertained.
Are there age group awards?
§ There will be an Overall Male and Overall Female award, along with awards 3 deep for 10 year age increments. The age groups will be as follows:
0-9
10-14
15-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+
Runners may not win both overall awards and age group awards, meaning that the overall male and female winners will not be able to win 1st place in his or her respective age groups.
When is the award ceremony?
§ The award ceremony will begin at 9:30 AM. All race result disputes and questions must be addressed before 9:20 AM.
