Race Update FAQ
Q: Why is the event being postponed?
A: We made the difficult decision to postpone the event to prioritize the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and the community. Recent fires and poor air quality in Los Angeles County have created conditions that could jeopardize everyone's well-being. Additionally, the state of Griffith Park has been impacted, and ensuring a safe and respectful environment is our highest priority.
Q: What if I’m unable to participate on the rescheduled date?
A: If you can’t join us on the new date, you’re welcome to defer your registration to next year’s Mt. Hollywood Trail Run | Hike, transfer it to one of our other events, or transfer your registration to another individual.
Q: Will there be any changes to the course or event logistics?
A: Currently, the format and the courses will remain in place. In the event any updates or changes are necessary, they will be communicated to participants well in advance of the rescheduled event.
Q: How will I receive updates about the rescheduled event?
A: All updates will be sent via email to registered participants and posted on our website: www.mthollywoodtrailrun.com or https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/LosAngeles/HollywoodSign6K12K
Q: Are refunds available?
A: While we aren’t offering refunds, we do allow a one-time transfer of your registration to another individual or to one of our other events.
Q: Will there be opportunities to help the local community?
A: Absolutely! We are committed to supporting those affected by the recent disaster and will be announcing more details soon about how we will be helping the community and how you can get involved.
