Bring a bag for Little Victories!
When you come to pick up your packet, we ask all racers to bring a bag of dog or cat food for Little Victories Animal Rescue.
For 20 years, the Huntington Turkey Trot has brought the community together on Thanksgiving morning while supporting Little Victories. This anniversary year, we want to make an even bigger impact for the animals who benefit from the race.
Our challenge is simple: One runner. One bag.
Bring a bag of dog or cat food to any early packet pickup or with you on race morning. With hundreds of Turkey Trot participants joining us this Thanksgiving, one bag from each participant could make an incredible difference.
Other much-needed shelter supplies are also welcome. View Little Victories' current donation needs.
Picking up on race morning?
Race-day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning at Ritter Park. Race morning is extremely busy, so local participants should make every effort to pick up their packets during one of the early pickup opportunities above.
And yes, you can bring your bag of food on race morning, too!
