🎃 Pumpkinfest 5K Run/Walk 🎃

Kick off Pumpkinfest with a run through Anamosa! Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for the annual Pumpkinfest 5K Run/Walk, open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a morning walk with friends and family, or simply looking for a fun way to start your Pumpkinfest Saturday, we'd love to have you at the starting line!

Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Distance: 5K Run/Walk
Start/Finish Area: Near the Anamosa Library & Learning Center, 600 E 1st Street, Anamosa, IA.
Race Time: 9:00am

📋 Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
Same-day registration and packet pickup will take place in the Anamosa Library & Learning Center parking lot prior to the race from 7:45am-8:45am. We will have three options for early packet pickup (details coming soon)!

PLEASE NOTE: All participant and spectator parking for the race will be on-street parking. The Library & Learning Center parking lot will be used for race operations and will not be available for participant parking.

👕 Race Shirts
Register by Friday, September 11 to receive a Pumpkinfest 5K race shirt.

🏆 Awards
Awards will be presented to the Overall Male Champion and Overall Female Champion, along with age-group awards in the following divisions:

8 & Under
Ages 9–12
Ages 13–15
Ages 16–19
Ages 20–29
Ages 30–39
Ages 40–49
Ages 50–59
Ages 60+

The 5K is just the beginning! After crossing the finish line, head downtown and enjoy the Anamosa Pumpkinfest & Ryan Norlin Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, vendors, Kids Zone, the Pumpkinfest Parade, and plenty more throughout the day.
