Get a run on your competitors with the Clear Lake Earth Days 5K and 10K – the region’s popular early season chip-timed race Saturday, April 25.
It’s down-to-earth and easy.
The 5K route is USATF certified. This means that a nationally standardized method of measurement was used, and that those measurements were checked by professionals to make sure that the shortest possible route is at least the stated distance. The maximum amount of error allowed between the official measurements is 0.08% to put it simply USATF certification means the race course was measured much more accurately than driving the course in a car or using a GPS watch to get the distance.
Awards will be given to the top three males and top three females in the following age brackets: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-64, and 65 plus. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner in the men’s and women’s competition.

Notes: Start line is at Main St. boat ramp, make one loop around city before heading down S. Shore Drive. The 5K turnaround is at the Y intersection at 20th Ave S. Return the same way to City Park and finish in front of the Lady of the Lake (do not make a lap around City Park at the end)
