NOTE: There will be a race course change this year secondary to Police shortages in the City of Davenport. The race will start and finish at the Marina next to the Village of East Davenport and traverse East along the bike path for an out and back course. It is certainly a beautiful view and should provide a wonderful backdrop for this years event.
The Easter Egg Scramble 5k is a charity driven event providing assistance to the Handicapped Development Center of Davenport, Iowa. We've donated over $40,000 to date and hope to continue making a difference in the lives of those the HDC supports. The 5k route is a hilly and challenging course that you will feel a great sense of accomplishment from completing. This year, we are hosting a more casual event than in the past. The 5k race will not be timed. Due to continued COVID-19 concerns, safety precautions will be taken if necessary.
Adult participants will receive a long sleeve quarter zip, commemorative 10 year anniversary bib, custom chocolate finishers medallion and entry into the post race party featuring our world famous breakfast burritos, drinks and alcoholic beverages for those over 21 years old.
Child participants will receive a finisher's medal, commemorative 10 year anniversary bib, Easter basket with candy and entry into our private Easter egg hunt.
