Walk. Run. Strut with Capital City Pride in the annual Capital City Pride Stride 5K.
Being proud isn't bragging about how great you are; it's more like quietly knowing that you're worth a lot. It's not about thinking you're perfect - because nobody is - but knowing that you're worthy of being loved and accepted. All you have to do is be yourself and live the story that no one else can live, the story of your own unique life. Run for fun - be proud!

Packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet in the East Village on Friday, June 9th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, located at 521 East Locust Street, Suite 100, Des Moines 50309. Participants may sign up for the race on the day of the race for $45. The shirt is not guaranteed for day-of-race registration.
Race begins at 8:00 AM, if you are not able to pick up your packet on June 9th, please arrive early. Day of registration will begin at 6:00am next to the Community Stage on Locust St. and 4th St.
All proceeds go to help fund Capital City Pride's programs and events that bring together members of the LGBTQ community, allies, and supporters.
