Event Description
A great spring time race hosted by Capital Striders around Gray's lake to get your legs in shape for the coming season.
The Capital Striders are a member of the Road Runners Club of America, which promotes the development of community-based running clubs and events in the pursuit of health and competition for all ages. RRCA provides support and race insurance for many of its 2,500 member organizations.
Registration
The online registration schedule and fee structure is as follows:
January 10, 2026 to March 28, 2026 - $50
After April 9, you can register at packet pickup.
Capital Strider members receive a $10 discount on the entry fee.
Uni-sex race shirts to first 250 pre-registered runners.
Course
The 8k course is TBD depending upon the status of the construction in the boat house area. The route for 2026 will be certified. A map will be provided.

Awards Ceremony
Awards
The top three males and females will receive gift cards (1st - $100, 2nd - $50, 3rd - $25 ); Top male and female masters will receive a $25 gift card.
New this year - The top three males and females on an age-graded basis will also get awards.
Age-group medals will be awarded as follows:
0-19 = Top 2 finishers
Only one award per person.
