2nd Annual "Run to Honor" 5k

****IMPORTANT NOTE****

Although it is unfortunate, there is a chance of rain. The race WILL continue as planned unless there is severe weather that would cause an unsafe environment for the participants. 

This is an event to raise funds to help our local Vietnam veterans be honored on a "Brushy Creek Honor Flight" to Washington, D.C.

We will be having two races at this event - the Elite 5k Run, and the 5k Fun Run/Walk. The Elite run will be starting at 2:00pm, and the 5k Fun Run/Walk will start immediately after at approximately 2:05pm. All registrants will get a meal ticket for the post-run spaghetti dinner, and registrants who meet the May 16th deadline will receive a shirt at the race.

Race day registration is available, and will begin at 1:30pm. However, all runners registered after the May 16th deadline will not receive a shirt. If you would like to order a shirt after the deadline, they will cost $10 for S,M,L,XL or $15 for XXL and larger.

Both races have group options available. This is available for groups of 5 or more people from the same school or company, or a group of friends running together. All teams that participate with 5 or more people will receive a customized plaque with the team name and a team photo on it, so we encourage you to gather your friends and join us in this fun fundraising event! (Note: please allow for 2-3 weeks after the race for the plaques to arrive)

During the registration process, if you are creating a group and are the first person in the group to register, you will have to create the group.  Please create the group with the name you would like displayed on the plaque. Please choose the names wisely, as teams with inappropriate names will not receive a plaque. If the group has already been created, all you need to do is simply join that existing group. Please note that all runners in each group must be in the same race - either the Elite 5k Division or the 5k Fun Run.
