New Virginia 4 x 4

New Virginia Iowa is the home of the 4 x 4 invention.  Come be a part of the Old Settlers Days and race in this 4 x 4 race.  This is a 4 person event with each participant running 4 miles.  Can't find a team?  Participate in our individual event the 4 x 1.  Same course, just individual time. All runners times will be added together for the team total and to determine top team finishers.  Ther race start is on the main town drag.   Quickly take to the country road and run over rolling gravel and class B roads.  Then back into town and make your way through the truck pull mud pit.  Finishing rightdown main street once again down a fast home stretch.  Stick around for the festivities of the day in town.  Food and rides down town, activities for kids and fireworks in the evening.  There will be plenty to do for everyone.
