The annual Tulip Festival Road Race in Orange City, Iowa is a mainstay on the third weekend of May each year. The 2026 edition will feature a scenic Orange City route starting and ending downtown with the last stretch along the Tulip lined Central Avenue from Northwestern College, past the historic courthouse, and through the Dutch architecture and festival features while finishing next to the Windmill in Windmill Park.

We will feature a 5k run/walk and a 1 mile fun walk. Both events will start at 8:05 am on May 16th on Arizona Avenue near the park.  Dutch finisher awards as well as overall and age group awards will be given.  The race will be chip timed with a gun start. Participants can expect a t-shirt, fun race experience, and treats at the finish line.
