Jenny Buls Vrba Sugar Skull Halloween Fun Run 5k

Come join us at Spring Park for a fun filled morning. Lace up your running and walking shoes and get ready to enjoy a scenic route through the park while supporting a great cause. Halloween and Dia de los Muertos costumes are highly recommended but not required. For those of you that don't know her, Jenny Buls-Vrba was an avid runner and triathlete that was tragically taken from this world too soon and we want to celebrate her by doing what she loved.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
After the run, stick around for food and a silent auction at Rusty’s Last Call in Osage. It’s going to be a great day as we remember Jenny and her favorite holiday season. The $30 registration fee will include a Sugar Skull Fun Run T-shirt and Soup at Rusty’s following the Fun Run. All proceeds will go to the Jenny Buls-Vrba NIACC Women's Basketball memorial scholarship, the Jenny Buls-Vrba Crestwood High School memorial scholarship, ISU Small Animal Veterinary Hospital as well as the Humane Society of North Iowa.
Registration will begin at 9:00 am with the Run/walk to begin at 9:45. Soup, snacks and silent auction to follow at Rusty’s Last Call in Osage.

Please note:  Parts of the trail may be rocky and therefore no racing spikes are allowed!

Entry fees:  Early entry by 11:59pm Sept 30th - $30

Registration after 11:59pm Sept 30th - $35

T-shirt deadline by 11:59pm, Oct 16th - $35 ($30 if registered before 11:59pm Sept. 30th)

Registration after Oct 16th - $35 and no guaranteed shirt. Can register in person on morning of race 9am to 9:30am.  May have extra shirts for purchase.
