Super Murph - 5K + Murph "Smurf" - Central Iowa

Imagine running down a parade route just before the parade starts.  The crowd is on its feet cheering.  You are running what is sure to be a PR.  The sun is shining.  As you cross the finish line, under the biggest American flag you have ever seen, you have the option to compete in the pullups, pushups and air-squats of a traditional MURPH.  This is the first of its kind - a SUPER MURPH...a "Smurf".  A 5K with 100 pullups, 200 pushups and 300 air-squats as an optional challenge at the end.  The MURPH is optional!  You can run the 5K, and then have a drink and watch the other contestants perform the MURPH.  In fact, you can walk the 5K and do a few pushups and you will still get a giant high five from everyone.  BUT, if your MURPH is already sub-40 minutes and you really want to take it to the next level, then you can run the 5K and then do the 100/200/300 for time and become the first champion of the Super-Murph with your name at the top of the leader board for 2023!
