Join us at the Vinton Public Library for PINK NIGHT. 

Discuss early detection, stories of hope and gain resources for those affected by breast cancer.

VPL is joining in our Gifts of Hope Walking Challenge through the month of October and on Oct. 2nd participating in the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative

Join VPL staff at noon on Oct. 2nd for a 30 minute walk around town. 

Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 8th, Thursday, Oct. 10th, Tuesday, Oct. 22nd or Thrusday, Oct. 26th  for after after-hours Mammogram Screening Event. Enjoy appetizers and beverages and get your annual mammogram. We will be open until 7:30 PM. Bring a friend!

Routine, annual, screening mammograms are low dose x-rays that help find breast cancer. This is recommended to start at age 40 and continue annually or semi-annually depending on your risk factors, age, and personal preference. Pink Heals will be at Virginia Gay Hospital on Thursday, October 24th from 5-7:30PM supportin Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Come out and visit  with us! 

Pink Heals is a program that partners with public safety, local businesses, and families to bring a community together. It is an organization that provides flower deliveries to show individuals that they are loved, cherished, and valuable to others. Pink Heals brings back the human element by celebrating people, not causes. 

Mission is to provide communities with a program that supports people in need on a personal level.
