ShamRock N Run

Downtown Waterloo's construction continues but guess what is back!?! The ShamRock N Run 5k race is BACK after two years of construction took out most of our race route. Come join us for the ShamRock N Run 5k on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at the corner of Park Ave. and Mulberry St. Our event is held during the Iowa Irish Fest in downtown Waterloo, Iowa--the midwest's BEST Irish festival! Online registration ends Thursday, August 1st at midnight. Early packet pickup / walk-up registration will be: Wednesday July 31st 4:30pm-6:00pm at Scheels in Cedar Falls and at the Iowa Irish Fest on Friday, August 2nd from 4:00pm-7:00pm, at Main Gate Entrance 1 in downtown Waterloo. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration begins at 7:30am Saturday morning and the race begins at 9am!

Your weekend pass into the Irish Fest is NOT included in your 5k registration this year. For those age 16 and older, click the Add-On option to add a Fest pass for only $25. They are $35 at the gate so this is an excellent savings! You will pick up your Fest wristband pass at race packet pickup times (see above). Age 15 and under gain free entrance to the Fest so no ticket is required for them. Each registrant will receive a T-shirt, finisher medal, snacks, water, and free beer with their entry. Wear your best Irish-themed gear, bring the whole family, and come join us for a fun-filled race and weekend!
