New Date: 10/10/2020
Dear TriByKnight Athletes,
As mentioned in previous correspondence, the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, spectators, and entire racing community is of utmost importance to us. That being said, due to the current and forecasted COVID-19 pandemic, we will be postponing the TriByKnight Triathlon to Oct. 10, 2020. We are fortunate to have secured a back-up date allowing you to still race in 2020.
We are obviously disappointed that we will not be able to hold our event on the original date, but think this is a great opportunity to celebrate what we have come through near the end of the race season! We believe that in each of you lies opportunity to create hope and inspiration for the people around you, and for each other. We encourage you to continue to train and focus on what is to come!
Rescheduled Date Details
Together, we have decided for the betterment of the community and the event that we need to postpone until Oct. 10, 2020. Registered athletes for events that are postponed due to COVID-19 by the local health authorities are automatically transferred to the rescheduled date. 1-Day USAT memberships will transfer as well.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate through this unprecedented time. We look forward to seeing you on race day!

The TriByKnight Triathlon, now in its eighth year, was the first triathlon in the Waverly area and already is one of the most popular early season events in the region. This USAT-sanctioned sprint tri (300-yard swim, 15-mile bike, 3.1-mile run) is perfect for those just getting started in the sport. The event, staged on the Wartburg College campus, features a time-trial pool start in The Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center’s state-of-the-art Schuldt Natatorium.
