Peace Day Virtual 5K/ 10K presented by IRIS

The Peace Day 5K has some updates for 2020! We understand that due to COVID-19 you may be more aware of social distancing and unsure about running with others. This year we have decided to host a casual, at your own pace virtual 5K or 10K. Join us in celebrating peace in your own neighborhood by completing a 5K/10K run or walk at your convenience.

This year we are adding the option to sponsor a runner who will complete the 5K for you. These runners are our past exchange students. Our alumni will complete a 5K in their home country and send you a thank you video as they complete it! Sponsoring an alumni runner also sends them a t-shirt as well!

The Peace Day 5K run/walk is part of the IRIS International Festival in recognition of the UN International Day of Peace. In additional to the "Peace Day 5K" run/walk, the day will include the IRIS Global Games. Join us in watching and learning about different games and sports from around the world on our Facebook page. 

All runners or sponsors will receive a custom RAYGUN t-shirt!

All profit from event funds the IRIS Global Grants and Scholarships which helps us fund community projects and continued studies for IRIS alumni around the world!
