Battle Buddy Virtual 5K, 10K, Half Marathon Run/Walk

Wed November 11 - Thu November 26

Description

Battle Buddy.

When a soldier in our Armed Forces enters the service, many are teamed with a Battle Buddy. Battle Buddy’s become VITAL to each other's success during their time in the service and/or combat protecting them from potential mental and physical challenges.  They have each other’s six, somebody to talk to that understands, holds them accountable and watches over their general well-being at all times.

But when our service Men and Women come home and trade their combat boots for civilian shoes many lose their Battle Buddy. We, as their loved ones, spouses, parents, kids, friends, and community, step in to fill the gap. It’s now up to us to watch their six!

The Battle Buddy 5K, 10K and Half Marathon is organized to show support and bring attention to our returning vets who may be feeling lost or in need of a Battle Buddy. We Run together as their new Battle Buddy by coming together as one group with a common goal.

Our Stride is honored to announce we have partnered with the Boise VA. A portion of the proceeds from the Battle Buddy 5K, 10K, Half Marathon registrations and 100% of all donations will go to the Boise VA Medical Center.
