Description
The Boise Galloway Run/Walk/Run Training Program is open to anyone who is interested in completing a distance event or simply running/walking with an amazing group of people! All sizes, shapes, ages and abilities are welcome ... from beginners to Boston qualifiers, from walkers only to runners/walkers. Pace groups are set up to ensure a comfortable and safe training pace for every ability.
Kickoff / Info Session:
January 25, 2025, at 12:00 pm noon at the Boise Public Library (Hayes Auditorium) 715 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise, ID.
Training locations: Various parks along Boise River Greenbelt
Choose the training duration and distance that works best for you:
16 weeks (10k), 21 weeks (10k or Half), or 42 weeks (10k, Half, Full).
If you are interested in walking only, select the 16-week Walk-to-Fitness option.
Train with us for the following races:
- Famous Idaho Potato 10k, 5k: May 17
- Boise River Half Marathon, 10K, 5k: June 21
- City of Trees Marathon, Half, 10k, 5k: October 11
- Boise Half Marathon: mid-November
