Description
The Boise Galloway Run Walk Run Training Program is open to anyone who is interested in completing a distance event or simply running/walking with an amazing group of people! All sizes, shapes, ages and abilities are welcome ... from beginners to Boston qualifiers, from walkers only to runners/walkers. Pace groups are set up to ensure a comfortable and safe training pace for every ability.
Season Kickoff and Info Session: Saturday, January 31, 2026 @ Boise Collister Library! (4724 W State St, Boise, ID). Join us @ 12:30 pm in the Sycamore Room to hear about the program, ask questions, and meet our amazing Pace Group Leaders!
Training locations: Various parks along Boise River Greenbelt.
Choose the training option that works best for you:
- Walk-for-Fitness (this group will walk for a specific time duration, not a specific distance) - Feb 7 - June 20
- 10k Training: Feb 7 - June 20
- Half Marathon Training: Feb 7 - June 20
- Year-round Training: Feb 7 - Nov 14 (with a 4-week break June 20 - July 11)
Train with us for a variety of races planned for May and June 2026.
