The 41st Annual YMCA Harrison Classic

The Harrison Classic is a beloved Boise tradition for kids 14 and under! This one-mile run/walk down historic Harrison Boulevard is all-inclusive, family-friendly, and designed to inspire a lifelong love of fitness.

With a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of smiles, the Harrison Classic is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community and healthy living. Bring the whole family and cheer on the next generation of runners!

Packet Pick Up

Early Packet Pick Up:

Friday, Oct 2nd 3-7 P.M at Bandanna Running and Walking

 


Day of Race Packet Pick Up:

Sunday, Oct 4th on the corner of 17th and W. Good St. starting at 1:30 p.m.

 


We highly recommend early packet pick-up to avoid the lines on Sunday afternoon.


Start and Finish Information

Start: Drop off will take place on the corner of 17th and Good St. The Starting line is on Harrison Blvd just before Hill Road.

Finish: McAuley Park on Harrison Blvd. This is a 1-mile run straight down Harrison Blvd. 

Starting Time: Please have kids dropped off no later than 2:45pm

3:00 pm - 10 and older             

3:05 pm - 9-year-olds                

3:10 pm - 8-year-olds                

3:15 pm - 7-year-olds                

3:20 pm - 6-year-olds                

3:25 pm - 5-year-olds               

3:30 pm - 4 years old and younger  


Course:


The Harrison Classic runs from Harrison Blvd at W. Good St. SOUTH down Harrison Blvd to the Finish line in front of McAuley Park.  Kids are encouraged to run on their own. Parents are welcome to run or walk with their child if desired, registration for parents is not required. 


Parking:


Parking is limited in the area. We encourage you to ride bikes, carpool or walk to the event. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways or sidewalks.


Teams & Schools 

Create a team with friends from your school or a different school, neighborhood, or family! Come up with a fun team name and share it with your friends, get creative, and celebrate being active together (You do not have to go to the same school to be on a team!).


School Prizes! 


The school with the most students participating will receive a cash prize for its PE program. Be sure to tell us what school you attend!
