Description

Autism Society North Idaho serving the Northern half of Idaho, is asking for the help of our community leaders and businesses to join us in supporting individuals living with autism in North Idaho.

We will be holding our Eleventh Annual Walk for Autism Acceptance on April 8th, 2023 in at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene. We encourage you to come and join us for entertainment, activities for children and families, and more! In 2021 and 2022 we were not able to do the walk due to the pandemic but are expecting a huge turn out this upcoming year.  This is an important activity for the Autism Society North Idaho as we work to meet our goal to support, educate, and advocate for all people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a neurological disorder affecting many families in North Idaho.

We invite you to be involved in this upcoming year's Walk for Autism Acceptance.  There are several ways that you, your company or organization can participate:

Ø  Create a peer-to-peer fundraiser - asking your friends, family and colleagues to help you raise money for the Autism community

Ø  Become a sponsor of the 2023 Walk for Autism Acceptance with your donation to Autism Society North Idaho, a non-profit charitable organization 501(c)(3)

Ø  Donate an item, basket or service for the 2023 walk Raffle Baskets and Silent Auction

Ø  Participate in our walk as an individual or get together and form a team with your colleagues, friends, or family.

Ø  Volunteer your services to help the staff make this event a success

Ø  Exhibit your wares or services at our Vendor and Agency Event, held during our Walk for Awareness (NO sales of merchandise during walk events)

We realize this is on Easter weekend, so we are incorporating Easter activities during the walk, such as an egg hunt and other ASD family friendly events – in hope to support the community celebrate the holiday weekend and enjoy time together.
Anything you or your business can do to help us would be greatly appreciated.

Please help us  support the ASD community by raising funds for education, resources, events, activities, grants and so much more!
