Race Cancelled
Hello. I wanted to let you know that after a ton of consideration , adjustments and thought we are canceling the Post Falls Triathlon for 2024. There are several factors that came into play recently and adjustments can't be made to give you a course you deserve. There will be construction on the dam & Avista island, Spokane Street bridge construction will cause the bridge to be one lane with a light, paving of Spokane Street and several detour areas that interfere with course (both running & biking). I can’t in good conscious with all these obstacles put this event on considering safety as my number one priority. I will not put my name or the City’s name on an event that is not completely organized with all I’s dotted and t’s crossed especially after last year’s fire debacle. You racers deserve better. I will refund all participants that have already registered, and I pray next year we can get back to racing.
Thanks for registering and your support. Believe me, in the past 2 weeks I have done everything I could to salvage this race and make it work, but it has to be safe.

Location: Q’emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls
Join us for our Post Falls Sprint Triathlon at Q’emiln Park. The race consists of a .3-mile swim, 12-mile bike ride and 3-mile run. Chip timing provided, snacks and an award ceremony will follow the race. Race begins at 7:00am.

Fees: Event choice Individual $85 • Team $165
Late registration fees applicable after 7/8 • ($100 Indiv. / $180 Team)
Swim Course: .5k Swim. Swim is at Q’emiln Beach
Bike Course: 19.6k Bike. Beginning at Q’emiln Park, westward along Riverview Drive to Idaho-Washington Border. Back in on Centennial Trail, through Commerce area, back on Centennial Trail on to McReynolds and finish back at the park.
Run Course: 5k Run, out & back course Q’emiln Park to Falls Park & finish.
Duathlon:
First run: 1.3 miles Q'emiln Park to Falls Park (out & back course)
Bike: Same course as Triathlon
Second run: 3.1 miles Q'emiln Park onto Avista Island, just past Falls Park and to the finish line at Q'emiln Park (out & back course)
PACKET PICK-UP: Race packets may be picked up on Friday, August 2, 4-6pm @ Fitness Fanatics (8919 E. Euclid Avenue, Millwood, WA.), or Saturday, August 3,1:00-3:00pm at Q’emiln Park or 5:30am-6:15am on Race Day at the Q’emiln Park. *Positive ID check-in required with photo ID for all registrants. Must show USAT membership card or be prepared to purchase a one-day membership *No third-party packet pick-up
LOCATION: The race start, finish and transition area will be at Q’emiln Park located at 12201 West Parkway Drive. Directions: I-90 to Spokane Street Exit, South on Spokane Street, Right on Parkway Drive. Q’emiln Park is on Right hand side. Parking will be available on the top lot on race day.
