Jacey's Race 5K and 1K

Jacey's Race is a timed 5K running race and 1K fun run/walk in Sandpoint, Idaho, held on the second Sunday in July (July 10, 2022).  The purpose of the Race is to benefit local children (and their families) with cancer or severe illness.  Jacey's Race is a healthy and fun event to bring a smile to a few children in need of a boost and community support.  Healthy snacks are available post race.  Other festivities include face-painting, balloons, snow-cones, silent auction, a dunk-tank, water-slide, dance and gymnastics demonstrations and expo booths from local vendors.  Cash prizes ( $200, $150, $100) are given to the top three male and female overall winners, and medals to the top three male and female age-group winners.  Prizes will be given to the top ten 12-and-under 1K participants.  A team plaque will be awarded to the team (group of family, friends, business or service organization) with the most 1K or 5K participants. T-shirts are available for pre-registered runners. Limited sizes will be available for Race-day registrations.  Funds raised from this event will go primarily to the beneficiary children chosen for this year, as well as support for local institutions that serve our community children such as Community Cancer Services, Bonner General Health Pediatrics and Unique Center for Athletes of All Needs (UCAN).
