Quit'n Quarantine Virtual Ride and Tie

Feeling a little stir crazy and missing out on cancelled races? Join folks across the country for a virtual Ride and Tie and/or Equathon. This is a FUN event and a non-sanctioned, no-points event. Some basic guidelines are below:

• First and foremost: Train and race with current health guidelines in mind. It is your responsibility to have fun, but also stay safe and virus-free.
• Second, if you're new to the Ride and Tie/Equathon scene - Welcome! We are glad you're trying this virtual event with us.
• Each human member of your team MUST register for the virtual race to be able to receive a completion prize. 
• You can choose to do your race any day during the virtual race dates. Be an overachiever and race on the first day or procrastinate to the final day, either way you'll get your completion award.
• Your team can sign up for one distance, or all distances, as long as your team only completes one race per day. For example, the same team (horse and humans) can not do 19 miles and 9 miles on the same day. Your team can do 19 miles on a Saturday and then 9 on Sunday.
• Any course, trail, track, or path is allowed. Just get out there and get your miles done with your team.
• We are using the honor system and trusting that your equine partner will be properly cared for while racing. For your award, you will submit your distance as proof of completion, but not your time.
• This virtual race was a dream of fellow R&T folks, and it is completely run by volunteers. Bring your generous and patient Ride and Tie vibe to this virtual event. It's all about having fun!
