Description

Take your fitness challenge to a whole new level with a 5 mile run over moderate rolling hills and a biathlon including the 5 mile run followed by an approximate 20 mile bicycle ride across country roads in St. Clair County, Illinois.This is a biathlon for both experienced and beginning athletes alike. All proceeds go to Get Up & Go whose goal is to make St Clair County the healthiest county in Illinois!!

Packet Pickup - Race packets can be picked up Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Shenanigan's Restaurant, 6401 W. Main Street, Belleville, Illinois from noon to 3 pm. Same day pick-up starts at 5:30 am

Awards - Age Groups: 5 mile is open to all ages. Biathlon minimum age is 16 years. Proof of age must be supplied on the day of the race (state or military I.D.)
5 Mile Run age group winners get a medal.
Male: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and up. Masters 40 & up.
Female: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and up. Masters 40 & up.
Biathlon Team: Male Team Top 3, Female Team Top 3, Co-Ed Top 3, Masters Female Top 3, Male Top 3.
All Biathlon participants get a medal.

All participants must wear A.N.S.I. approved
helmets. Be prepared and race- ready with
reliable bike and helmet. No strollers or pets
on the course.

Awards ceremony will be held approximately
10:00 a.m. in Belleville West High. Course
closes at 11:00 am.

Race chip timed by Final Lap Race Management.
