Description
Set to take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Byron Forest Preserve in Byron, Illinois. Runners (and walkers) will enjoy the moderately challenging 5K course.
Walkers/Runners are encouraged to walk/run miles in memory of a loved one. Stickers will be available to write the name(s) of your loved one to be worn during the race. All proceeds for the Miles in Memory Run/Walk benefit Serenity Home. Serenity Hospice & Home is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving the terminally ill and their families in Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago Counties.
The course is certified by USA Track & Field - # IL14077JW.
