Click on "RESULTS" near the top of this page. Then click "Submit Virtual Results". Follow the prompts to submit your activity. . You can submit each activity under its own classification. For example: If you walk 1 mile and bike 2 miles, you will have the option to add each of the distances under the "RIDE" and "WALK" categories. If you choose to add a photo, there will be an option to add a photo of your accomplishment. As a participant you will be able see each other’s progress. Please allow some time (~5 minutes) for the full update of your total distance after each entry.

You will receive one “Rec Your Quarantine” t-shirt. Money for this event will be used for the sign-up registration fee, shipping fees, and the price of the shirt."May 2, 2021 is the cut off to sign up and still receive a shirt. Any sign-ups after May 2, 2021 are not guaranteed a shirt."
Your shirt will be mailed to you. Please make sure to include a reliable address where you can receive your shirt.
52.4 miles (2 marathons)
Breakdown: ~1.74 miles a day or 2, .87 mile walks a day
Run, Jog, Walk, Rollerblade, Elliptical, Bike, or Crawl your way to the finish line.
We encourage you to get creative, make a walking path around your house or use the stairs to go up and down numerous times to achieve your mileage. If you have a garage, what a great time to clean out things and make a path!
Attend one of our free group fitness classes and receive 1 mile per class. Group Fitness classes can be found at https://rec.siu.edu/programs/fitness/groupfitness/
Practicing social distancing is so much more fun when there is a goal involved! Set 52.4 miles as your goal for the months of April/May and start Spring off with an accomplishment! We encourage you to invite a friend or family member to join and race to the finish line or complete it together! This is a great opportunity to unplug from technology and step outside!
