The El Grito 5K course runs along 26th Street, Chicago's second magnificent mile, in the culturally rich Mexican neighborhood of Little Village. The race will precede the 50th annual Mexican Independence Day Parade. 

We invite runners of all fitness levels to participate in this event!

Adult Registration Fees (18+)

• May Registration: $20
• June Registration: $25
• July Registration: $30
• August Registration: $35
• Last Call (September 1 - September 7): $40
• Race Day Registration (September 8 | 7am-9am): $50

Youth Registration Fees (17 & Under)

• May 1 - September 7: $15
• Race Day Registration (September 8 | 7am-9am): $25

Family Registration Fees (4-5 people) In-person registration only, see below for details

• In-Person Registration (June 26 - September 7): $60

Team Pricing (Minimum of 10 people) 

• Adult price (until 9/7/2019) - $20
• Youth price (until 9/7/2019 - $15

The first 10 participants to sign up on the team will sign up at the current registration price, once the 10th person joins, each of the 10 participants will be refunded the appropriate amount so that the final price paid is $20 per adult (e.g. if you sign up in July, the regular price for an adult is $30 so the first 10 participants will be charged $30, then when the 10th person signs up, the first 10 people that paid $30 will be refunded $10). Any team member after that 10th member will be registering at $20.

Fundraiser for Youth Sports Programming in Little Village
100% of the proceeds from the El Grito 5K go directly towards funding New Life Centers programming that supports youth and families in Little Village. Through our programs we aim to connect youth and young adults to Christ and community through mentoring, education and sports. The El Grito 5k Run/Walk is presented in partnership with New Life Centers and the Little Village Chamber of Commerce.
