Description
Stretch your legs and go for a run or walk while supporting the initiatives of the Foundation either in Chicago, IL on 10/10, or wherever you are the week of the event. Our 8th Annual Fun Run & Walk raised over $30,000 in New Orleans, LA!
This year's 9th Annual Fun Run & Walk will once again offer both In Person or Virtual options for participation. Can’t travel to Chicago but still want to contribute to our efforts? Sign up as a virtual registrant and run or walk in your neighborhood – then post your results (and a selfie!) on the event site to show your support.
If you’re able to make it to Chicago on 10/10/24 – meet us outside the Riverwalk room on the bottom floor of the Sheraton for race check-in!
Whatever you decide to do – virtual or in person – please don't forget to invite your friends and family to join in the fun and help support the Foundation’s mission! The event accepts donations (through this website) and sponsorships (contact John Mangold at development@myavls.org)!

This event and all funds raised through it will be awarded to the Foundation for Venous & Lymphatic Disease and its mission to promote public awareness of the clinical signs and related issues associated with venous and lymphatic disease!

About the Foundation for Venous & Lymphatic Disease
The Foundation for Venous & Lymphatic Disease (FVLD), formerly the American College of Phlebology Foundation, was created to expand scientific knowledge, understanding and awareness of venous and lymphatic disease through investments in advocacy, research and education initiatives to improve patient quality of life. Through generous support, the FVLD has funded important achievements including: recognition of venous and lymphatic medicine as a self-designated specialty, the creation of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, fellowship programs across the nation, and CME Category 1 status from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education for the American Vein & Lymphatic Society.
