Description
Join us as we run/walk a virtual 5k between Thursday, October 29th and Sunday, November 1st with the goal of raising $2,000+ to support One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue. You can walk with your dog (or someone else's dog), you can walk or run at any time you like, even complete the event on a treadmill at home if you prefer. We will provide an optional route to walk with others outside, as well.
While doing what you love – running/walking, hanging out with your pup – you will be raising funds and awareness for the Bucktown-based One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue, whose mission is to end pet homelessness by making pet ownership a joyful and accessible experience for all. One Tail accomplishes this by rescuing animals from overcrowded shelters, placing them in loving forever homes and providing support and resources to pet owners in need. We love the compassion and community engagement that this organization promotes.
Pre-registration will be open through Thursday, October 29th.
Once you have registered, come into the HealthSource Wicker Park office to pick up your long sleeve performance T-shirt and swag bag between October 26th-29th! We are located at 1448 N. Milwaukee Ave 3rd Floor Chicago, IL 60622.
Post a photo and tag @healthsource.wickerpark with #healthsourcewp5k and you'll be entered into a drawing for multiple prizes from the HealthSource Wellness Center.
We are very excited to be partnering with One Tail at a Time Dog Rescue and we look forward to seeing your photos! Sign up today!
P.S. If you are interested in donating separately, participating in other efforts or simply picking up a T-shirt, just let us know!
