Description
It's Red Door Animal Shelter's 20th year! But our big annual "Gimmie Shelter! Walk for the Animals," and all of our yearly fundraising events have been cancelled due to COVID-19. As a 100% donation-funder shelter, this has hit us hard. But we won't stop fighting to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned pets! We'll just need a little help from our friends.
How does it work?
You choose the day, time, and location of your walk or run - it's all on the honor system! All you have to do is register for the Virtual 5K now and start your race any time between August 31st and September 13th, then share your fundraising page with family, friends, and coworkers to raise pledges for your personal walk or run.
That's it!
Your time and effort will help us continue our mission to provide the closest-to-a-home experience that a shelter can. Until the purrfect furever home is found.
