Durand Fireworks 5K

It is time to sign up for the 4th annual Firework 5K Race! For the first time, the race will take place on the 4th of July. In Durand, Illinois the flat and fast course will remain the same as the previous years with a water station at the half way point in the entrance of the park. If you're not interested in the 5K race, there will be a 1 mile fun walk available. Whether you are an athlete running the race or a cheerleader for your favorite runner, this is a great family event to raise awareness for physical activity and running! The proceeds from this race support the Durand 4th of July Events as well as the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. Come support your local town events and our American Soldiers and run the race! Packet pick-up will be from 2PM-4PM on July 3rd at the Durand Square near Hearth and Garden.  Holly will be registering new participants and giving out race bags at that time.
